GHXST CREW UNITS // LORE DOSSIER

[GHXST.BLK] BLACK PHASE

"Erase the feed. Burn the grid."

The original blackout crew — Black Phase are the ultimate digital ghosts. Specializing in full signal erasure, dead-drop node shutdowns, and identity wipes, they are called in when a trace must be undone. Their presence indicates the end of all visibility.

[GHXST.DLK] DEADLINK OPS

"No ping. No echo."

Deadlink Ops work beyond comms. Each member functions as a lone operative, disappearing into disconnected zones. They leave no logs, no reports, only mission results. Deployed for high-risk blacksite work.

[GHXST.ZEC] ZERO-ECHO UNIT

"No return signal."

Designed for zero-return missions. Once deployed, they complete their task and vanish entirely — no ping, no memory, no repeat. Most ZEC members are one-drop agents who encode their own erasure.

[GHXST.DSK] DUSKLINE CREW

"First to roll out. Last to be seen."

The Duskline Crew are nighttime highway nomads. Equipped with silent-engine bikes and non-reflective armor, they patrol dusk zones and shadow corridors. Often intercept or deliver ghost-tier drops.

[GHXST.CRC] CIRCUIT GHOSTS

"Glitch the system. Then ghost."

Masters of interference, CRC cells operate through digital sabotage, embedded malware, and silent intrusions. They’re known for leaving entire buildings or sectors glitch-locked.

[GHXST.X13] OBSCURA13

"Off-grid. Off-record. Off-script."

Obscura13 rejects command. Believed to be composed of defectors or anomalous creations, they function outside any chain of control. Dangerous, brilliant, and entirely unpredictable.

[GHXST.VDS] VOID SIGNAL

"When the signal dies, they move."

Only activated under total blackout or EMP scenarios, Void Signal operatives are silent-mode specialists. Their environments are signal-dead, making detection impossible.

[GHXST.STC] STATIC CELL

"Silent. Still. Seeing everything."

Long-term embedded observers. Static Cell agents are often sleeper units who silently watch, log, and wait for decades before activation. They're considered foundational in deep surveillance.

[GHXST.RPL] REAPERLINE

"When it's time to end it, call Reaperline."

The termination crew. Sent to clean up traitors, compromised zones, or malfunctioning units. Reaperline operatives always operate masked and logged under disposable identities.

[GHXST.AFO] ASHFRAME ORDER

"Destroy to create."

The ritualists of GHXST. Known for symbolic cleansing of corrupted data or sites. They often burn traces physically and digitally, then reconstruct mythologies around what's left.

[GHXST.PHN] PHANTOM NODE

"Appears when it matters. Then never again."

Seen only during high-impact critical events. They don’t communicate. Their existence is rumored, rarely confirmed. Believed to operate on predictive subnets and intuition logic.

[GHXST.WRC] WRAITH CYCLE

"Drop and vanish."

Fastest courier division. WRC members use high-speed drop bikes, often with cloaking or signal jammers. Drops are physical or encoded — nothing tracked.

[GHXST.NED] NEON DEAD

"The city sees them. The city forgets them."

They move in hyper-urban environments wearing dead identity loops. Their work overlaps surveillance evasion, social engineering, and memetic distortion.

[GHXST.SGH] SIGNAL_HOUNDS

"Find the lost. Find the leak."

Track-and-trace specialists. Signal_Hounds are deployed when data or people go missing. Their scent is digital. Their targets often don’t see them coming.

[GHXST.ECL] ECHO LIMIT

"Write the myth. Control the memory."

Narrative engineers and psychological tacticians. Echo Limit rewrites public record, implants legends, and turns facts into controlled fictions. They guard GHXST’s myth from the outside world.

[GHXST.DZ9] DROPZONE 99

"Last resort."

Only deployed under total protocol collapse. DZ9 is known to terminate missions, memory, crew, and environments in one sweep. They are a reset — not a rescue.

[GHXST.THS] THORN SPIRE

"Guard the gate. Burn the key."

Defensive lockdown specialists. Often stationed at primary servers, sourcecode nodes, or ancient GHXST caches. Always armed with counter-hack glyphs.

[GHXST.BCD] BURNCORE DIV

"Delete the memory. Keep the myth."

Trained in memory scrubbing, data collapse, and deep-code cleansing. Where BCD works, traces are replaced by legend — they write absence as presence.

[GHXST.NCT] NOCTURNALS

"Midnight is operational."

Exist only between midnight and 04:00. Their movements are tied to lunar cycles, electromagnetic quiet, and low-frequency interference. Operate in near-dream states.

[GHXST.GWK] GHOSTWALKERS

"They don’t stop."

Perpetual motion couriers. Deliver encrypted code, messages, or artifacts between moving nodes. Never seen resting. Often rumored to be AI-enhanced.
